About Rise Communications
Welcome to Rise Communications:
Rise Communications is an independent agency set up to make our clients' businesses more profitable through brand and communications strategy.
We have no vested interest in the outcome of our work except that it must deliver an increased, sustainable profit (or effect) for our clients. Whether working with brands such as Virgin Media, AOL, L'Oreal, Channel 4 or Skinny Cow Ice Cream the effect of our work is dramatic and has been consistently recognised at both The Marketing Society Awards and National Business Awards. Most recently we won the 2008 Marketing Society Award for Best Brand Revitalisation and in 2007 won the award for Best Launch strategy.
Since we do the things that clients are finding it tough to crack or don't have the resource to do so, we'd like to think of ourselves as a natural extension to your marketing department. Ollie has spent over 15 years working in media, including the role of General Manager at ZenithOptimedia where he was responsible for strategic planning across high profile accounts including L'Oreal Luxury division, Allied Domecq and MFI.
In 2003 Ollie undertook an MBA at Tanaka business school which included specialisms in customer focused strategy, market entry selection and entrepreneurship within large corporations.
After that he joined Rise as a founding partner where he has worked with businesses including Virgin Media, C4, 118118, Berry Brothers and Rudd spirits division and the COI. In late 2007 Rise launched Contented, a specialist digital strategy business with founding clients including R&R foods and Glenrothes.
